Christmas Eve Cajun Shrimp

                Ingredients

                • 1 C. butter
                • 1 C. margarine
                • 6 lbs. unshelled, raw jumbo shrimp
                • 1/2 C. Worcestershire sauce
                • Juice of 3 lemons
                • 3 lemons, sliced
                • 4 Tbsp. fresh ground pepper
                • 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce (Tabasco, more if you like it hot)
                • 2 tsp. sea salt
                • 1 tsp. ground rosemary

                Instructions

                1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
                2. Place butter and margarine in a roaster pan and place in the oven until just melted.
                3. Thoroughly rinse shrimp, drain, and towel dry.
                4. Mix the remaining ingredients in the roaster pan as soon as the butter melts.
                5. Place the shrimp in the roaster pan and stir to coat with the butter mixture.
                6. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes until shrimp shells turn pink.
                7. Every 5 minutes stir to keep the shrimp well coated.
                8. Spoon shrimp and sauce into individual bowls.
                9. Serve with crusty French or Italian bread.
