The Simplest Frosting

Ingredients
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
Instructions
- Beat butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, then add half the sugar.
- Beat until that sugar disappears, then stop and add the rest.
- Beat until frosting is bright white and fluffy, like a cloud.
