Dump-and-Bake Sausage and Pepper Casserole

                A simple casserole featuring Italian sausage, peppers, onions, and mozzarella cheese, baked to perfection.

                Ingredients

                • Italian sausage
                • 3 bell peppers, sliced
                • 1 onion, sliced
                • 1 jar of pasta sauce
                • 1 tbs Italian seasoning
                • 1 tbs garlic powder
                • salt and pepper to taste
                • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

                Instructions

                1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
                2. Cut sausage into 1 inch round pieces and slice bell peppers and onions into 1/2 inch long pieces.
                3. In a large bowl, combine sausage, peppers, onions, pasta sauce, and seasonings. Mix well.
                4. Grease a 9x13 baking dish and dump in half of sausage and pepper mixture. Top with half of mozzarella cheese, then pour in remaining sausage and pepper mixture.
                5. Cover baking dish with foil and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
                6. Remove from the oven and remove foil. Top with remaining cheese and place back in the oven for 10 minutes.
                7. Serve and enjoy!
