Lasagne

                Classic lasagne with layers of noodles, meat sauce, and cheese, baked to perfection.

                Ingredients

                • 1 lb lasagne noodles
                • 1 gal boiling water
                • 1/2 oz salt
                • 3 qt lasagne sauce
                • 2 1/4 oz parmesan cheese
                • 1 lb 5 oz shredded mozzarella
                • 2 tsp leaf oregano

                Instructions

                1. Cook noodles in boiling salted water until done. Do not overcook. Wash with cold water. Let stand in cold water.
                2. Prepare lasagne sauce according to recipe.
                3. In the bottom of each well oiled 12" x 20" x 2" steamtable pan arrange a layer of cooked lasagne noodles (approx. 14 oz).
                4. Spread 1 qt sauce over noodles.
                5. Sprinkle 3 Tbsp parmesan cheese and 7 oz shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over sauce.
                6. Repeat this process 2 more times.
                7. Sprinkle 2 tsp of oregano over each completed pan.
                8. Bake in 350°F oven for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
                9. Let stand 1 hour before serving.
                10. Cut each pan 4 x 6.
