Hamburger Stroganoff over Egg Noodles
A simple and hearty dish perfect for a family meal, featuring ground beef in a creamy mushroom sauce served over noodles.
Ingredients
- 1/2 to 2 lbs hamburger, browned
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can mushrooms
- 2 Tbs ketchup
- 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
- Cooked noodles
Instructions
- Brown the hamburger in a skillet.
- Crush the garlic cloves and chop the onion, then cook together with browned hamburger.
- Stir in the can of cream of mushroom soup.
- Add sour cream to the meat mixture and heat through.
- Include the can of mushrooms to the mixture.
- Mix in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce; do not leave out.
- Serve the hamburger mixture over cooked noodles.
