A delightful alternative to banana bread, these moist banana bars are baked and frosted with a scrumptious burned butter frosting to create a perfect dessert treat.

Combine and beat sugar, yogurt or sour cream, margarine, and eggs.

Add mashed bananas and vanilla.

Stir in flour, salt, and baking soda till combined; fold in.

Bake in jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for 18-25 minutes.

Cool and then frost with Burned Butter Frosting: Cook 1/4 cup butter till light brown, then add vanilla, milk or half and half, and powdered sugar. Spread on cooled bars.
