                1x

                Instructions

                1. Melt 1/2 stick butter in a small bowl and allow to cool. Butter a 9x13 inch pan generously.
                2. Warm 1 cup milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a small saucepan till just warm. Dissolve 1 packet yeast in this mixture and let stand till frothy.
                3. Combine 3 1/4 cups of flour with 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, and the yeast mixture in a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment.
                4. Knead on low speed till a sticky dough forms, adding one tablespoon of flour at a time if it's too sticky.
                5. Let the dough rise in a warm place covered with a towel till doubled in size.
                6. Form into 12 balls and place in the buttered pan. Let rise covered again till puffed up.
                7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
                8. Bake until tops are puffy and golden, about 20-25 minutes.
                9. Brush the warm rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
                10. Serve hot from oven.
